Gazelle inks new European deal with Center Parcs

Center Parcs has signed a contract with Royal Dutch Gazelle to host the European bike makers bikes on its European sites for the next four years.

The cooperation is an extension of a deal in place for the past four years, though this time around will explore ‘new mobility’ solutions in order to meet the “future needs of guests”.

According to Pascal Ferracci, CEO of Center Parcs Europe, the collaboration ties in with the direction of the holidays giant to set the new standard in family holidays and to continue to surprise guests: “Center Parcs and Royal Gazelle join forces with the common goal of enriching the experience. Thanks to the high-quality, sustainable and innovative products from Royal Gazelle, Center Parcs enables its guests to enjoy a relaxing time together even more. Cycling on a good bicycle in the middle of nature makes a valuable contribution to this.”

Some 15,000 rental bikes, spanning mountain bikes from sister brand Focus, through to the more traditional sit-up-and-beg style leisure bikes that Gazelle is known for. Electric bikes have featured in the line up for some time and now account for 4% of the fleet, a figure that may now increase.

“We are very happy that Center Parcs will also be working with Royal Gazelle in the coming four years and that we can deliver bicycles for all of its parks in Europe. A bike ride makes people more relaxed and happy and that really adds to a stay at Center Parcs, “says Huub Lamers, CEO of Royal Gazelle.

In the UK Moore Large’s Forme bikes are currently on the ground at holiday locations across the country. The distributor’s up coming Geared show is now live for registration.
