Giant Bicycles drop backwards fork clanger in “how to” video

Eagle-eyed retailers have spotted a clanger in a recent Giant Bicycles’ how to video, designed to detail how to mount an e-Bike to a rear-mounted car rack.

Posted to the brand’s official Youtube, Giant’s producers have mimicked a common supermarket bike mishap, mounting an e-MTB with the forks fixed in the wrong direction.

Wisely, the firm does advise to remove the battery in transit to avoid any dangerous situations should the bike fall from the rack. However, the firm does caution not to leave batteries in an unventilated car on hot days.
