Herrmans boosts production capability for lights and grips

OEM cycle market supplier Herrmans has taken the Covid-19 downtime to install two significant new production units to its warehousing in Finland.

New to the headquarters are production machines for lighting and grips, for which the firm’s catalogue has been steadily growing.

Earlier this year the firm introduced a line that it said borrowed concepts from the motoring world for its Nordic Xtreme products. There offer both high and low beam functionality at the rider’s control. Low beam offers 650 Lumens and 120 Lux, and the high beam offers 1,100 Lumens and 250 Lux, while the Nordic PRO model is recommended by the OEM’s should low beam only light be sought.

In tandem with the installation of the equipment, the firm welcomes two new staff to its global sales team. First of all, Jimmy Lin is now representing Herrmans Bike Components in the APAC area, stationed in Taiwan. He has seventeen years of experience in the bike business and is now Herrmans main local support within sales and communication.

Meanwhile, Emil Finne has joined the business at its headquarters where he will manage key accounts and also be the UK’s main point of contact for sales. As an aside to that, he will also look after customers in Greece, Portugal and Tunisia.
