i-Ride signs sports nutrition label Namedsport

Cycling distributor i-Ride has inked a deal with the sports nutrition label currently fuelling Astana, Bahrain Media and Trek-Sagafredo, among others.

Namedsport (pronounced “Nah” – “med”) has a 30 year background in natural medicines, something that flows through a range of supplements and energy gels, among other lines.

Adam Glew, marketing manager of i-Ride, commented: “At i-Ride we are committed to supplying specialist products to the UK cycling market; and we have a history of working with technical products that enhance cycling performance. Namedsport work with some of the top teams in the Pro Peleton, which does justice to the quality of their product and the technical expertise that they possess. We’re thrilled to be working with them and look forward to increasing their exposure in the UK.”

As well as backing world tour events like the Giro d’Italia, Namedsport are the official sponsor of the Tour de Yorkshire. You’ll find them on hand at the start areas with a selection of sample products on offer to visitors.
