IMG Distribution hire Mark Noble as Marketing Manager
This week, IMG Distribution announced Mark Noble will joining the company as their new Marketing Manager, starting with immediate effect.
Mark has decades of experience in the BMX and cycling industry, having previously worked for Cycling Sports Group as BMX Category & Marketing Manager, and prior to that as Brand Owner of Deluxe Bike Co alongside various media roles at ESPN, Albion Magazine, BMX Union and Red Bull, and before that, as Managing Director & Editor of 4130 Publishing – which was responsible for creating hugely influential consumer magazines such as RideBMX, Dirt MTB Magazine, Document Skateboard, and more.
“Mark brings a huge passion and experience for BMX as an industry, a sport, and lifestyle to our company as we work on sustainable growth for our distribution company. We’re excited to work with Mark and develop our brands here, working closely with our dealer network at all times,” said Carlo Griggs, Managing Director of IMG Distribution.
Based in Selsey, West Sussex, IMG Distribution is the exclusive UK distributor of Haro Bicycles, Premium BMX, Colony Bikes, Academy BMX and Alienation, and also has several in-house brands catering for the BMX and MTB market – including Proper Bike Co, Vocal, Season Bike Brand, and Shield Protectives – with a wide selection of complete bikes and P&A available for UK Dealers.
“I’m excited to work for IMG and the way we do business – this is a genuine portfolio distributor and we work hard on supporting our dealers with what they need. Bike shops should be the heartbeat for local riding scenes, and we fully understand that,” said Noble. “Our brands have amazing history – take Haro Bikes for example, Bob Haro invented the freestyle BMX bike and the company he founded hasn’t stopped pushing the sport since. We’ve got some amazing stuff coming from Haro, Premium, Vocal, Shield, Season, and more… these are brands and products that we’re proud to distribute to UK bike shops and ensure margin at every step – this has to be sustainable. BMX is not insignificant here, and making sure UK dealers are happy is key for IMG, with products that riders love. It’s been a very strange couple of years for everyone, and the bike industry is forever changing and evolving – with what we’ve got going on here at IMG, we’re really excited about the future.”
