LEVA-EU surveys industry on e-Bikes ahead of European Commission regulation ruling on power

Ahead of the possible creation by European Commission of a legally binding test on power used by electric bikes, LEVA-EU is calling on the industry at large to tackle a short survey on testing.

At present, no limit value is imposed on electric bicycle makers, yet manufacturers must measure and report how much electricity the e-Bike is consuming. The potential tweak to legislation may establish a legally binding limit.

This survey is aimed squarely at collecting the opinion of the companies who are directly concerned by this question, i.e. companies that produce, import and/or distribute electric bicycles.
