Lizard Skins announces Upgrade Bikes as new UK distributor
Lizard Skins, celebrating 30 years in business this year, has announced a new UK distribution partnership with Upgrade Bikes.
The Lizard Skins bike range is currently used by some of the top teams in world cycling – including the Lotto Dstny and Movistar teams on the grand tour circuit, professionals Maghalie Rochetti and Kerry Werner in cyclocross, along with the Commencal Vallnord and Unior Davinci MTB teams currently racing at World Cup levels in downhill and cross-country respectively.
“We are so excited to be working with Upgrade Bikes”, says Ryan Huntington, Lizard Skins Sales and Marketing Director. “They have a great reputation in the UK cycling industry, and we are honoured that they will be representing Lizard Skins.”
From its humble 1993 beginnings, developing a neoprene chainstay protector, to their class-leading DSP products used in cycling, baseball, hockey, and now gaming, the brand has maintained a singular focus, aiming to make products which increase athlete performance, and enjoyment of the sport.
Matt Killick, National and International Sales Manager for Upgrade Bikes said of the announcement, “I am excited that we have secured the exclusive distribution of the Lizard Skins brand – this is a great acquisition and a brilliant fit to the Upgrade portfolio.”
The current product line is available to order now direct from Upgrade Bikes, with product in stock in the coming days.
Lizard Skins, BOA Technologies, and Pimaloft are all part of parent group, Compass Diversified.
