Cycling powermeter maker Powertap has opened a European service and support facility in Rugby, Warwickshire.
Now operational, the center will not only service European customers, but will also expedite the process. Therefore all PowerTap customers, including end-users, retailers and distributors, can contact the EU Service directly.

“It is paramount that we provide the highest level of customer service, regardless of geographic location,” said Aaron Davis, PowerTap’s Service & Warranty Manager, “Our ability to service both pedal- and hub-based platforms in multiple continents allows us not only serve our customers better, it also helps us catch and prevent any issues early on. We are excited for this new chapter to be added to our long history of exemplary service.”
This change has allowed PowerTap to expand its service beyond its hub only service capability to pedal-based platforms as well. Customers, as well as PowerTap retailers and distributors, can now contact the service center directly to request any of the following services: 1) P1 and P1S single-sided pedal bearing overhaul; 2) P1 and P1s single-sided pedal recalibration; and 3) all G3 hub services.
