Look Mum, No Hands takes on Soho Bikes’ head mechanic to broaden workshop services

London Cycle Cafe, repair shop and events space Look Mum, No Hands has taken on Soho Bikes’ head mechanic Mariusz Zuchowski.

Soho Bikes sadly announced that it would join the growing list of bike shop closures last month, something which has left many London mountain bikers without a local expert to fine tune their rides.

The hire gives the famed Old Street destination store – a UK pioneer in developing the cycle cafe concept – a toe in the mountain biking segment having primarily drawn in road cyclists and commuters thus far.

Sam Humpheson, founder of LMNH, said: “We are really excited to be taking on Soho Bikes’ head mechanic, Mariusz, and to start offering the quality, specialist mountain bike services that Soho Bikes were famous for. By moving the entire Soho Bikes workshop set-up from Berwick Street to Old Street, the aim is to provide as much continuity as possible for customers. If you used to go to Soho Bikes you can now come to LMNH for a very similar experience and range of services.”

Nick Hawker, Soho Bikes former manager added: “The workshop was the heart of our bike business in Soho and it’s fantastic this will be continued. LMNH already have an established workshop and cater for all types of cyclists, so they are well positioned to become the place in central London to have your mountain bike serviced and repaired. I’m sure our great customers from Soho will find they are very well looked after on Old Street.”
