Magura launches new season of TechAcademy digital training platform

After the successful premiere of the TechAcademy last year, Magura is starting the 22/23 digital training season with exclusive content on the brand’s new products, and updated information on existing ones.

With the format so well received – reaching more than 1,200 specialist dealers throughout Europe – in its premiere year, Magura has looked to further underscored the increasing importance of digital training courses, significantly reduced the training effort for specialist dealers, imparted valuable knowledge about the products and services, through attractively designed learning modules.

As in the previous year, the learning content will be accessed on the www.magura-techacademy.com learning platform. This specially set up website offers participants a pleasant learning experience on a PC, tablet or smartphone and documents their progress.

Following the first season’s success, MBPS has expanded the TechAcademy adding new learning content for the 22/23 training season. Instead of the previous 5 training modules, each of which lasted around 30-40 minutes, 8 new learning modules in four languages (DE, EN, FR & NL) will now be available for the coming season.

New additions include 2 modules on the new Magura MT C ABS components and the new Magura VYRON MDS-V3 seat post, plus a fact check that disproves the myths about disc brakes.

Instead of frontal shots at the presentation table, we have specifically revamped the scenes and the relevant information, supplementing them with exciting video contributions.

Each product innovation is an individual highlight – but we haven’t neglected the entertainment factor either!” says Timo Kieninger (Head of Marketing & Sales).

MAGURA TechAcademy 2022/2023 training content:

The MAGURA TechAcademy 2022/2023 has 6 learning modules of approximately 20-40 minutes each. Six modules provide information on MAGURA product groups, each divided into product and service information and ranging from detailed explanations of product features to practical tips on bleeding a product, for example, and troubleshooting. 2 modules will also cover thought-provoking facts about the MAGURA brand and company, plus information about the MBPS services (MAGURA Bosch Parts & Services).

The TechAcademy 21/22 modules have been revamped by the team and supplemented by 3 new modules. The learning content of season 22/23 at a glance:

  • Module 1: History of the brand and production “Made in Germany”
  • Module 2: The HS rim brake: models, installation and maintenance
  • Module 3: The MT disc brake: models, tuning, installation and maintenance
  • Module 4: The MT C & MT C ABS components: presentation, installation & maintenance
  • Module 5: The MCi: Presentation, installation & maintenance
  • Module 6: Fact check about disc brakes
  • Module 7: VYRON MDS-V3: Presentation, installation & maintenance
  • Module 8: MBPS service and advertising material

Magura experts, Stefan Deyerler (Area Sales Manager South/East and Bike Training Coordinator) and Dominik Voss (Marketing, Content & PR Manager), will guide the participants through the modules.

Instead of a simple frontal-view filming, participants can expect a refreshing mix of video contributions covering the use of the products, thought-provoking interviews with Magura athletes such as Bart Brentjens (MTB Olympic champion 1996), and insights into production.

Registration, participation & certificate:

Participation is easy and flexible since it’s possible from anywhere on a PC, tablet or smartphone at any time. A dedicated website offers participants a pleasant learning experience, information about their learning progress and the possibility to review content that perhaps needs a second or third look to ensure it’s been understood. The website also has helpful links and documents for downloading.

Each participant will be provided with the exclusive TechTalk workshop manual, which contains all the technical information about products and their maintenance. Magura will also certify successful participation with a personal participant certificate following a short knowledge test. You can learn in your own time – but make sure you’re finished by 30.09.2023.

Please note:

  • Only registered MBPS dealers can participate
  • 1 registration per participant is mandatory, due to the personalized certificate and the individual learning progress.

Participation in the 8-part training series costs €22 (plus VAT) per person. Booking is easy, fast, and only possible in the www.magura-b2b.com webshop.
