MET’s Eldar lid gives extra protection to kids
MET has unveiled a new helmet for children which benefits from extended coverage at the back of the head and across the temples.
Particularly vulnerable to impacts in these places, MET’s designers were keen to give young mountain bikers a helmet that mimicked adult lids as worn by Enduro World Series riders.
Adjustable with one hand, the helmet carries a 360-degree Safe-T Twist 2 dial, as well as a removable visor and the option of a reflective rear sticker.
Landing with stockists in August, recommended retail prices come in at £45 or €55. Sizes 52cm to 57cm will fit the Eldar comfortably.
