Mineral oil and brake pads – KOM Ltd begins market push with ‘gold dust’
A small distributor quietly servicing a handful of trade accounts in the background has now begun a firmer market push under the KOM Ltd banner.
As the headline suggests, the firm currently has stock of various items which are currently like ‘gold dust’ to the trade, most notably lines like mineral oil and brake pads which founder Darren Parish believes are largely out of stock with other widely used sources.
The brand roster now available to trade accounts includes BikeWorksX; a braking brand simply called Braking; Damil Components, which produced hand made wheels in Italy; DeanEasy’s tubeless solutions; and finally Ariete, which produces fork seals and goggles.
On the brands carried Parish told CI.N: “We offer products of European origin as we believe this offers the best value for money for the UK retailers. The products we offer are high quality and ones we use ourselves. We offer these products with great, workable margins with no buy-ins or minimum orders.”
