Moloko Cycling: Crowdfunding bike rental powered by community

As keen cyclists, Paul & Alex have known the joy of cycling for over a decade. When Covid hit, they found ways to support friends & family to get into cycling and avoid the key barriers to entry of complexity, expense and fear.

Moloko’s key cycling services include 1-2-1 support to find your ideal bike to rent or buy, friendly organised group rides for every level, curated cycling tours plus a library of pre-planned routes to help you get the best out of cycling with tips and recommendations on great kit from their affiliate partners.

The UK cycling market grew by 45% in 2020 with an estimated value of £2bn and 7.5m Brits cycling regularly. This trend has been identified across the globe, which provides Moloko with huge headroom for growth as their London-based formula can be replicated in cycling hubs in major cities worldwide.
