Mudhugger joins Moore Large
Moore Large has received its first delivery of mud protection systems from new brand Mudhugger, now exclusive to the distributor in the UK and Ireland.
On offer to dealers are four guards; 26er, 650B, 29er and Fatbike options.
The Front Race was designed with the help of world cup and enduro riders in 2014, weighing in at only 80 grams. Measuring 450mm in length, the Front Race provides mud and spray stopping performance without breaking the bank, helping to keep your customer’s line of vision clear on gravity fueled thrills. With various holes for fitting to different fork braces, it is suitable for all wheel sizes, including plus wheels with tyres up to 3 inches wide.
At only 60 grams in weight and 340mm long your customer won’t even notice the Shorty Front is there, but it still offers impressive protection in the worst riding conditions.
The Standard Rear fits 26″ bikes and 27.5 hardtails, whereas the Standard 29″ fits all 650B and 29er bikes, both versions supplied with frame tape and zip ties. Initially designed to overcome the problem of fitting mudguards to a bike with a dropper seat post the Rear Mudhugger works well on all bikes, providing they have disc brakes. They do not get in the way, move out of line and are robust enough to take the rough and tumble of trail riding, allowing your customer to train hard and remain comfortable for longer.
The brand has some of the world’s fastest downhill and enduro racers as ambassadors, from the likes of tomorrows champions in the rippers’ category to world champion Loic Bruni and team mate Finn Iles choosing Mudhugger when the conditions require maximum protection.
Jamie Gardiner, Mudhugger co-inventor commented, “We’ve been riding MTB since the late 80’s, when dropper posts and good LED lights became affordable, meaning the style and type of riding we could do in the winter changed. The downside to this was the filthy state we got in as there were no rear mudguards that allowed us to ride the way we wanted. Most riders now accept that a reputable mudguard makes sense, not only is it much safer it’s also more comfortable and means you can ride faster. Thousands of muddy miles later we now have the complete solution for wet weather riding”.
The stock is now available from Moore Large and retails between £18 and £27.50. To become a stockist, please contact your Area Manager or a member of the sales team.
