Now dealers can get Saturday deliveries on bikes and P&A from Raleigh UK

Raleigh has introducing a Saturday delivery service on parts & accessories and bike orders placed before 6pm, via the Raleigh B2B, following dealer feedback.

From April, any orders placed on a Friday can be shipped and delivered on Saturday; this extended delivery service is a further development of service promises made as part of the implementation of Raleigh UK’s new business strategy, based on three core pillars,

Raleigh said the service will allow stores to be more flexible and responsive, whilst limited the stock they hold in store, helping meet customers’ raised expectations from the convenience of the internet.

“We are constantly looking at new ways to offer support and value to the IBD network here in the UK, making changes such as Saturday delivery reinforces our promise to support our IBD partners with industry leading service and logistics,” said Raleigh UK’s MD Pippa Wibberley. “Our focus for parts and accessories is to be the one stop shop and to keep driving forward with the best brands, availability and service levels giving our partners the tools necessary to deliver a first-class experience to the consumer.”

The firm said the new extended delivery service follows service promises that were part of Raleigh UK’s new business strategy. Based on three core pillars, Raleigh said it aimed for the best service, the best brands and outstanding availability to support UK IBDs in meeting demanding end consumers.

The Raleigh UK B2B platform will allow IBDs to order products with the next day promise, now including Saturday deliveries to – compete with on-line service and convenience levels. On P&A orders, IBDs will also have the option to place orders for Saturday delivery directly to a customer’s address providing enhanced flexibility. Saturday delivery will be guaranteed next day for mainland UK.
