Orange Bikes expands sales team with four appointments
West Yorkshire-based bike manufacturer Orange Bikes has strengthened its sales team with four appointments.
Mike Ellis (pictured top left) has joined the company and will be responsible for the international, North of England and Scotland segments. He brings a wealth of international and UK commercial experience to Orange Bikes, having previously worked at Scottish cycling apparel brand Endura before moving to Pentland Brands — Endura’s parent company — where he served as International Business Development Manager.
In that role, Ellis developed and managed relationships with distributors and retail partners across global markets. Orange Bikes stated that Ellis’s understanding of international channel development, combined with strong existing relationships across the UK, makes him an outstanding appointment to lead the company’s growth ambitions.
John Styles (pictured bottom left) will take responsibility for Southeast England. Bringing over 20 years of experience to Orange Bikes, Styles is also well known as a columnist and founder of consultancy Cyconomist. His analytical approach and deep knowledge of the trade will be a major asset for Orange across the South East.
Moreover, John Hollier (pictured top right) has joined the company to cover Southwest England and Wales. With a 30-year career spanning shop floor, telesales, warranty and sales roles, his network of independent retailers across Southwest England and Wales makes him “an ideal representative” for Orange’s hand-crafted range.
Lastly, Conor Ward (pictured bottom right) has been appointed to oversee the Irish market. Boasting local knowledge and established relationships with bike retailers across the island of Ireland, Ward will assist the company in growing its presence in Ireland and connecting more closely with the country’s thriving mountain biking community.

In addition to these appointments, the company will launch new bikes in the future, including the imminent launch of an all-new Avinox-powered electric mountain bike, making Orange one of the only UK manufacturers to adopt DJI’s class-leading motor system.
