Taipei Cycle Show 2026 gets underway with 200 international exhibitors
The doors opened to Taipei Cycle Show 2026 earlier today, and the global appeal of the event was borne out by the 200 international exhibitors taking part, representing (approx) 22% of the 900 in total.
Taking place over 3,450 booths across the two halls at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre, Taipei Cycle Show is one of the reliable cornerstones of the bike show calendar. Like previous years, this time around innovation will be rewarded through the TAIPEI CYCLE d&i Awards, likewise the Industry Forum will bring together leaders to discuss trends and supply chain shenanigans, of which there have been a lot in the past half decade or so. Sessions include focuses on German-speaking markets and ESG disclosure trends, we’re told.
In terms of themes, sustainability will unsurprisingly be featured, looking at transformation and low-carbon manufacturing.
This time around there’s a “Cycling Paradise Taiwan” cultural zone highlighting how Taiwan has moved beyond being a global manufacturing hub for the market, but also into an integrated cycling ecosystem including lifestyle and culture. Taiwan is embedding cycling into everyday life through industry collaboration and public-private partnerships. Interactive programmes such as the TAIPEI CYCLE Workshop, Fantasy Ride Trials and TCW Tour guided experiences provide visitors with deeper insights into product design, eBike applications, and industry trends.
The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion, organised by the International Trade Administration and implemented by TAITRA, showcases award-winning innovations from 11 companies, including MERIDA’s award-winning lightweight e-MTB, KMC’s waxed bicycle chain, and Dr. Foot’s patented recycled carbon fibre insoles.
There are CIN boots on the ground and you are actively encouraged to approach them (they’re in the brand livery) if you spot them roaming the halls.
