Polisport Group acquires Catlike helmet brand

The Polisport Group has announced that it has acquired the Spanish helmet brand Catlike in a bid to reinforce its portfolio in the high-end cycling market.

Polisport will now assume exclusively over the entire development, industrialization, production, sales, and promotion of Catlike brand and its products.

Pedro Araújo, CEO and President of Polisport Group said: “Incorporating a brand like Catlike into our team and portfolio makes us stronger. We are sure that we can relaunch the brand and take it to the next level, we are very proud, committed and we will give our best, setting for sure a new route for Catlike.”

Intensive work is being done to incorporate the brand back into the market by resuming mass production and granting stock availability of helmets during the second half of 2021. A time schedule for all the helmet model availability will soon be released. As for the remaining products, the portfolio will be defined and aligned according to the new Catlike global brand strategy.

The Polisport Group specialises in bicycle and off-road motorcycle accessories and is already established with a growing international presence. Many in the cycle trade will know the group as a maker of child seats for bikes, among a wide portfolio of other accessories.

The Polisport Group exports 98% of its production and has nine brands in its portfolio. Today the group has more than 500 employees distributed by 7 companies, and it is now present in more than 72 countries around the world.
