Publisher Ride BMX and specialist store Source form global e-Commerce partnership
Transworld’s Ride BMX title and Hastings-based specialist retailer the Source are combining skillsets to create an online retail store and experience for BMXers all over the world.
Launched on Wednesday, ridebmx.com/shop will pair the publisher’s content and audience of nearly two million riders with Source BMX’s e-tail offering, which has grown to be one of, if not the largest, ecommerce website in BMX.
Ride and Source kicked off the new relationship at the Source’s second annual Battle of Hastings – a three-day live event at the retailer’s house skate park, which finished with the 21st annual Ride BMX NORA Cup Awards, happening for the first time ever outside of the States.
Carrying forward, both brands will be meshing what they do best… Source will maintain their superb customer care, great stock availability and competitive global shipping rates to over 100 countries. Ride will continue to produce the authentic editorial content it’s known for, but will now put a huge focus on product editorial as well. The goal is for Ride and Source to become the leading product launch platform and use our engaging video-based content to reduce the clicks between when a rider learns about a new product to having that product show up at his or her door.
