Raleigh partners exclusively with Namedsport Nutrition
Raleigh UK has announced an exclusive partnership with Namedsport Nutrition, with products available from 31 January.
The brand, which is new to the UK cycle market, will offer Raleigh’s IBD network a unique proposition with vast consumer reach and brand exposure through sponsorship of prestigious races such as the Giro D’Italia, Tour de France and La Vuelta.
Namedsport’s supplements aim to improve the performance and health of cyclists, supported by clinical studies with a focus on premium natural ingredients and product testing. Raleigh will offer the brand’s full range of cycling supplements from energy shots to protein bars, and are also planning plan to run quarterly promotions with extra margin for IBD’s and free in-store point of sale.
Originating out of Italy, Namedsport is already a well-known player in the field of sports nutrition throughout Europe. The brand is now looking to establish itself in the UK.
With the ever increasing demand on retailers to be responsive, Raleigh’s focus on consumer centricity, which inspires the implementation of new brands such as Namedsport, ensures it is assisting its partners in keeping up with changing consumer trends.
Raleigh UK’s Managing Director, Pippa Wibberley, said: “As a leading player in UK Bicycle and Bicycle Parts and Accessories distribution it is vital that we continuously drive improvements. The whole company is working to make changes and we are united in our drive to give IBDs the support they need to succeed in challenging market conditions.
“We are incredibly excited that we are able to make these significant business changes to support our dealers. Add to this our on-going drive to strengthen our brand portfolio with the products and brands that consumers are demanding and I am confident that our customers will achieve great things throughout the rest of 2019 and beyond.”
