Registration for UK’s January trade expos now live, organisers make case for dealer sign up

Registration for both The Bike Place Show and CoreBike is now live.

Traditionally held on the same dates just miles apart, 2017 marks the first year where the trade expos separate, with Core beginning on January 22nd and running to the 24th, while The Bike Place takes to Silverstone from January 29th to 31st.

CoreBike

Starting with Core, notable additions for the 2017 event include Zyro Fisher, Felt and Magura. Visitors will once again benefit from a high level of hospitality, with dealer accommodation on offer, as well as evening entertainment and food supplied throughout the day.

Exhibitors include; Silverfish, Ison, Upgrade, Windwave, Extra, Hope, the Electric Bike Corporation, Assos, I -Ride, Chickens Cycle Sport, 2 Pure, Hotlines, Moore Large, Endura, Oakley, Gore, Mojo, Multi Sport Distribution.

The organisers said: “We can’t wait to be back at Whittlebury Hall this coming January, we have more brands, exhibitors and products to share with you than ever before. The Core values of the show that started 13 years ago continue today with amazing 2017 products on show in a relaxed and friendly environment”.

To register up to four members of your team, head to corebike.co.uk. Those businesses choosing to take more than four staff will be required to fill out the same form again. All questions should be directed to team@maxbikespr.co.uk.

The Bike Place

On the following weekend Silverstone once again hosts The Bike Place show, which having filled halls to beyond capacity last year opens into a fresh area in 2017.

2017 will see the introduction of a E-Bike test track, as well as Shoretrax and improved catering for visitors.

Organiser Sean Reynolds said: “We will see a number of new exhibitors that you will know well, including i-Ride, Polaris, Cyclescheme and Orbea. Some others that may be new to many visitors are Dexshell, Buzzrack and Oneway distribution, along with the matriarchs who have been with us since the start, Orange, Jungle, Velobrands and Burgtec.”

Outlining why The Bike Place’s dates don’t fall in line with Core as in previous years, Reynolds explained: “We chose the 29th-31st January for two reasons. Firstly, we have exhibitors and visitors who are also heavily involved in the snow sports industry. These need to do Slide &/or ISPO, as well as The Bike Place. In past years there has been a clash, our exhibitors wanted the show to be end of Jan, so we had to fit between the two snow sports shows. By having the show on the dates we have chosen allows them to look after both sides of their business. Secondly, as the show has grown we have been forced to take more space and our visitors will simply need more time to spend at Silverstone to see all we have to offer. Half a day is likely no longer enough.”
