RideWrap expands in UK with new install facility
RideWrap has bolstered its presence in the UK by opening an install facility, two years after it set up production in the UK.
Located within Cycle Exchange, on the London-Surrey border, the install facility will support local riders, shops and brands with professional advice and install of RideWrap products.
UK riders will be able to access RideWrap products cut and installed by a team of RideWrap pros, with tailored protection kit installation at £140 + kit. Expert advice on bike protection products will also be offered by the team, based at 27 Sury Basin, Kingston upon Thames.
Designed, engineered, and tested in Whistler, BC, RideWrap is locally produced in Canada, New Zealand, Sweden, UK and the USA. Engineered to protect bicycles, RideWrap film is self-healing, so minor marks and scuffs disappear with the warmth of a sunny day. Using superhydrophobic material, it repels water and dirt and comes with a 10-year warranty against yellowing and cracking.
The firm said: “With some of the UK’s best trails in the area, Surrey has proven to be a hotbed of the UK riding scene and supports our favourite after work activities. Having an install shop in the Surrey area means that we can better support riders, industry partners, trail associations, and the entire cycling community with bike protection products.”
