RideWrap moves production of protection kit to the UK

RideWrap has moved its production to a facility in the UK, citing a number of Brexit-related hurdles in landing its product in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Now carried by cycle distributor Windwave, the frame protection label’s goods are designed to repel grit, grime and water, protecting the frame’s paintwork in vulnerable areas.

The brand said of the adjustment: “We love a good portmanteau as much as the next person. But, to be honest, Brexit introduced more than a few challenges to doing business in the UK. VAT, duties, slow delivery times, etc. To navigate those challenges and to make life easier for riders in the UK, RideWrap opened up a production facility in the UK.”

The adjustment should further benefit customers in terms of fulfillment speed, reliability in pricing and for those orders fulfilled directly, free shipping on orders north of £95.

Kits are available in either matte or gloss finish to match factory paint and are nearly invisible once installed. Each comes with a ten year warranty against cracking or discolouration.
