Cargo bike and eBike manufacturer Riese & Müller has appointed Richard Bohl as Chief Financial Officer.

Effective 15 August 2026, Bohl is responsible for the company’s financial management and reports to the executive management. He will also support the management in the continued growth of the company and provide centralised support for finance-related issues and processes.

“We are gaining an experienced manager with Richard Bohl, someone who combines financial expertise with a clear vision of long-term corporate growth,” said Sandra Wolf, Managing Partner and CEO of Riese & Müller. “He will generate momentum for the future growth and development of Riese & Müller.”

Bohl has many years of leadership and management experience in corporate finance, international controlling and corporate transformation. He held senior financial positions for over ten years and most recently served as Managing Director at a company in the healthcare sector. In these positions, he was responsible for overall commercial control, with a focus on finance and accounting, corporate and project controlling, and liquidity and treasury management. He also supervised transformation processes at both operational and strategic levels.

Recently, the company made another management team reshuffle with the appointment of Udo Jankowski. Effective 1 August, Jankowski has been helping shape the company’s operational development alongside CEO Sandra Wolf in his new role. Riese & Müller said Jankowski’s expertise lies in combining engineering excellence, product development and long-term growth, supported by many years of executive experience in the engineering and mobility sectors.

Earlier this year, Riese & Müller co-founder Heiko Müller left the company’s management team in July.
