Rocky Mountain sees 160 2019 bikes stolen from its HQ

Rocky Mountain’s Vancouver warehouse has been broken into, with thieves taking a haul of 160 brand new 2019 models.

According to Pink Bike and other outlets, the 160 bikes – the equivalent of a container load – were pinched from the grounds of Rocky Mountain’s warehouse in British Columbia.

Rocky Mountain CEO Raymond Dutil said: “We are very disappointed with this situation, and the impact that it has on our IBD network. We have dealers across Canada that were expecting to receive their orders from us in the coming weeks.”

The network of dealers in Canada have been alerted and the Vancouver Police Department is handling the investigation.
