Scottish CNC specialist PINND debut eBike cranks

Last year CI.N had the opportunity to chat with Jamie Duncan of CSS, a Scottish precision CNC machined parts specialist, with the business already having launched its own brand – PINND – and shipped its first product; 2 distinctly different versions of the CS2 pedal.

At the time there was talk of 2 other product in development, and, well, the cat is now well and truly out of the bag for one of those, as today sees the launch of PINND ‘made in Scotland’ eBike cranks.

Available in 3 lengths – 145mm, 155mm and 165mm – and black or natural anodized finishes, the cranks represent the next stage in the journey for the PINND brand, which Jamie is understandably proud of. How proud, you ask? Life time warranty proud.

• Offering shorter lengths for better ground clearance

• Self extracting design for ease of fitting and removal

• 165mm arms = 496g

• 155mm arms = 472g

• 145mm arms = 450g

PINND E-BIKE ISIS cranks are compatible with most e-bike systems using the ISIS spline interface. For example, Bosch systems (Gen 2/4, excluding Gen 3 mini-ISIS Bosch spline shaft), Yamaha PW-X systems and Brose systems.

• With Bosch systems the Q-Factor is 186mm, with Yamaha 176mm.

• For Brose systems the Q-Factor is 200mm
