See.Sense Co-Founder a finalist in Amazon Everywoman Tech Innovator awards

Irene McAleese, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at technology driven cycling company See.Sense has been shortlisted for the Amazon Everywoman Tech Innovator awards.

The business, built around patented sensor and AI-fusion technology, enabling a connected community, focuses on making riding safer, and collectively smarter.

Today, with more than 100,000 cyclists world wide using a range of products, See.Sense are also partners to both British Cycling and Cycling Ireland.

The patented technology inside See.Sense products enables a community of users to share powerful, anonymised, sensor data insights which can be used by leading cities to improve safety, and cycling infrastructure, so that more people can ride.

The business also work with B2B clients such as bike share and e-scooter fleet operators, to provide advanced data insights, as well as forward-thinking employers looking to encourage more people to commute by bike, helping to meet sustainability goals.

McAleese has been nomination for the Amazon Everywoman Tech Innovator awards as a result of her work in leading the See.Sense Data Insights team, facilitating the creation of innovative projects and partnerships across the globe.

In January of 2022 the business launched an all new ICON3 bike light, which smashing its funding target in only four hours. See.Sense surveyed backers (who had already pre-ordered the product) on their preferences for key design elements.
