Shift Active Media expands team with 4 new hires

Award-winning international cycling marketing services business Shift Active Media has welcomed 4 new members to its rapidly growing team.

Making the announcement, Shift introduces:

Portrait shot chest up for Matt MartinMatt Martin as Research Director, to further strengthen their category leading research practice

Matt has nearly 15 years experience of consumer research and insights, and joins SHIFT from Hall & Partners (Omnicom) where he led teams working on global brand and communications research projects with clients including UEFA, Zurich Insurance and British Airways. His previous roles have seen him working for Conquest and Millward Brown (Kantar) across a broad range of projects, from brand positioning and tracking, concept testing and creative development.

Matt Newton, joins the media team, will be leading on the Look, Corima and Zwift accounts.

Matt started his media career working with brands such as Ford and Kelloggs, gradually transitioning into consulting, and working with independent media agencies across broadcast and performance digital media. Outside of Shift, Matt is an avid cyclist and is a British Cycling Ride Leader.

2 new account managers, Lucy Rickett and Jacob Stuckes, who’ll work across several accounts, including Rapha & Brompton.

Lucy joins Shift from a creative agency background. Having begun her career working with the likes of British Airways, she made her move into the sports industry at MATTA London.

Jacob joins Shift with sports marketing experience, formerly working with the likes of Evans Cycles before more recently working for an innovative, fast-growing social media agency.

With Zwift making ground breaking sponsorships in women’s cycling – Paris Roubaix Femmes and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift 4 year deals – Shift are actively engaged, through the partnership with Zwift, in a multifaceted transformation of the face of professional and recreational sports cycling.

Also part of the brand mix at Shift, Campagnolo, who recently communicated ‘Dream Bigger’ – launching a vision for the future of the business, made possible by substantial growth, partly enabled by a European manufacturing (Italy and Romania) base.
