Shift Cycling Culture to host COP 27 online industry meet-up

Shift Cycling Culture has announced it will host its annual online COP meet-up for the cycling industry, taking place on Wednesday November 9th, aligned with the international climate conference COP27 which, for 2023, is being held in Egypt.

At last years’ Meetup the Climate Commitment was launched, and we have welcomed over 70 signatories since. This years’ COP27 meet-up will focus on how to further accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

More details on the program will follow shortly, with Shift are pleased to announce the first speaker of the event: UCI Sustainability Consultant Ben Barrett who will discuss the Climate Action Framework for the cycling sport.

The COP27 meet-up will also introduce the newly appointed Shift Cycling Culture Executive Director to the organisations wider network.
