Shimano Europe recruiting for Sports Marketing Specialist
Shimano Europe is actively recruiting for an experienced Partnerships Specialist who will be the brands first point of contact with the ASO on day-to-day basis.
The role plays a crucial part in the success of the Shimano brand by building and maintaining strategy, relationships, and execution of Shimano’s key sponsorships and partnerships with the ASO, to show case Shimano in, amongst others, one of the biggest sports events in the world; the Tour de France.
Your role will be to facilitate effective integrated marketing and sponsorship programs and, as the first point of contact for ASO, on day-to-day basis, requires the skills and experience to lead collaboration and guidance through the ASO’s activation process in the interest of the Shimano brand and the team, as well as working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional activations and build stronger relationships.
Long-term partnerships are the cornerstone of our sponsorship business, spanning the World’s biggest cycling events. As such, these partners require meticulous account management to maintain excellent standards year-round, guiding the implementation of the channel plan strategically through a busy event season.
This role strengthens the consumer engagement as a key strategic resource for our business while spotting opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Superior knowledge, expertise and vision of the sports industry means that this role leads and influences regular business updates with the brand team, digital, content and communication team and commercial teams.
- In addition to negotiating contract terms, sponsorship rights and marketing activity, this role is will help build brand amplification plans, consumer engagement initiatives, CRM and data capture strategy, as well as facilitating trade partner and talent hosting opportunities in order to build internal and external brand advocacy.
