Silverfish affected by US ransomware cyber-attack

Silverfish have announced that its systems have been affected by the ransomware cyber-attack on US software company Keseya, which took place on 4 July.

Despite customers experiencing difficulties accessing the website, the company would like to reassure its customers that no data was accessed or extracted as part of the attack.

Silverfish have said: “At this time our website and order processing system remain out of operation. We are working hard and as quickly as possible in conjunction with our IT partners to restore these systems and have already made good progress. However, while we carry out this work the website will remain offline and we will be unable to process any new orders.”

The company plan to release further information when available. In the meantime, Silverfish would like to thank its customers for their patience and support.
