Silverfish bolsters internal sales team

Silverfish UK has introduced two new appointments to its Internal Sales team. Chris Thomas and Alex Wiseman both bring customer service and bike industry retail experience to these frontline roles supporting the Saltash firm’s IBD customers.

Chris Thomas started in the bike industry by doing work experience at Halfords, then pursued a career within management there. After a break from the bike industry working in field sales with Wurth UK and then Fischer Fixings, Chris returned to the industry at Silverfish in April. When he’s not speaking to retailers on the phone he can be found in muddy woodland on his 2018 Mondraker Dune.

Alex Wiseman began working full time in his family’s bike shop after A Levels and, after a year and a half exile in the motor trade selling Jeep for Vospers in Exeter, returned to work his way up to shop floor manager. After seven years in retail Alex joined Silverfish in September for a new challenge in the distribution side of the business. Alex is a bit of a cycling all-rounder and is already racking up the off-season miles commuting to Saltash five days a week.
