Simplon launches new Kiaro Disc road bike

Austrian bike brand, Simplon, has unveiled its new Kiaro Disc road bike which places emphasis on comfort whilst still remembering its racing genes.

The new model is equipped with features such as Comfort Concept and Raptor Dropout on the forks to increase smoothness on uneven roads, while the clean look of the Smart Headset’s internal cables ensures an aesthetic front view without tangled cables or clutter.

In a bid to improve braking performance, particularly in wet conditions, the Kiaro Disc is fitted with the latest generation of disc brakes complimented with “flatmount” mounting. The bike also features high frame stiffness to enable precise steering and balanced handling, meanwhile a special fin in the bottom bracket areas which ensures high torsional stiffness during acceleration and, in turn, maximum power transfer.

The Kiaro Disc is available in Cosmic Red Glossy, Black Glossy and Pearl White Glossy colourways, with prices starting from €2,899.
