SKS launch digital track pump – all new for ’22

German cycling stalwart SKS has launched it’s new for ’22 range of pumps, amongst which sits a first for the brand; a digital track pump.

Made in Germany, as we’ve come to expect from SKS, the Air-X-Plorer Digi 10.0 introduces the digital gauge to enable maximum accuracy – cyclocross and mountain bike racers are well known for making micro tyre pressure adjustments (1 psi increments) to maximise grip and minimise rolling resistance. The new Air-X-Plorer Digi 10.0 is exactly what’s needed for these situations. For road riders exploring comfort Vs rolling resistance, having made the switch to tubeless, the Air-X-Plorer Digi 10.0 is equally well suited.

As part of a co launch, the Air-X-Plorer Digi 10.0 featured alongside another product receiving a complete make over: the SKS MULTI VALVE head.

The Multi Valve Head – MV Easy – comes with optimised functions, improved handling and a contemporary design: The newly designed MV Easy is made of high fibre reinforced plastic and can be easily clamped onto the valve using the ergonomically shaped locking lever.

Suitable for all valve types, the new rocker interface easily detects which valve is in use. Importantly, clogging with tubeless sealant is now a thing of the past. With this in mind, the SKS MV Easy Multi Valve Head can be retrofitted to all SKS pumps.

For those eyeing the Air-X-Plorer Digi 10.0, be that for race weekends, workshop work, or home use, it features the new MV Easy as standard, enabling the pump to deliver a maximum pressure of 10 Bar / 144 psi, paired with an extra long high-pressure hose, and a steel pump body, with the SRP £65.
