Eurobike’s Bike Biz Revolution talks data, digitalisation & future mobility
The newly-formatted Bike Biz Revolution conference is finalised to take place the day before Eurobike on the 3rd September, 1pm-6pm.
The Bike Biz Revolution, for which a ‘call to action’ was announced in June, is bringing together visionaries, technical pioneers and disruptive thinkers to ‘analyse the road ahead’ regarding data and digitalisation.
The conference consists of three ‘theme blocks’, the first of which is titled Data Driven Business and is centred around the idea that data is becoming increasingly significant in business. Presentations from Rose Bikes, Bidex, Alex Thussbass and Peter Post will look at data-driven business models and the importance of product data analysis.
The next theme block titled The Future of Mobility, will see Haveltec’s Christian Anuth, Swap Fiets’ Martijn Obers and Greyp Bikes’ Kresimir Hlede discuss connected bikes, smart bikes and bike share. Following this, Thomas Sauter-Servaes from Zurich University of Applied Sciences will talk about artificial intelligence and its impact on mobility behaviour.
The final part of the programme focuses on the Future of Bike Biz, where Cranktank’s Scott and Adrian Montgomery will discuss how the bike market is changing in the US, and Dr Björn Stapelfeldt from Smartfit looks at how digital sales tools will transform the cycle industry. Rounding off, Comodule’s Kristjan Maruste will discuss and predict the change in mobility behaviour over the next 10 years.
In line with this increased focus on digitalisation, Eurobike has unveiled its newly re-vamped website equipped with streamlined themes, intuitive search function and emphasis on mobile usage.
Eurobike takes place next month, 4-7 September in Friedrichshafen.
