Specialized’s custom bike program hits the UK via retail partners

Initially started in the USA, Specialized has imported its custom bike program to the UK.

Retailers of the brand stand to benefit. The process requires the customer to design the bike online, email themselves the finished spec via the site and take it to a local bike shop for order completion. The custom built bike will then arrive with the bike shop for a final check over inside sixty days of the order being placed.

Initially customers will be able to customise the Enduro and Stumpjumper ranges, with differing wheel sizes and colour options available. Either SRAM’s XO1 Eagle or GX Eagle will be offered as drivetrain choices. Should the budget extend, customers can even spec Öhlins suspension.

The online bike builder is now live here.
