SQlab intro gloves with unique Slim and Wide fit options

SQlab has launched its first glove series, and, as you’d expect from a brand focused on fit and ergonomics, the range is characterized by a specifically developed size concept. For the first time a glove manufacturer has not only considered hand size, but also hand width – with the aim of creating a perfect fit for every hand.

Whilst the brand acknowledges that offering a perfect fit for 100% of riders out there remains a challenge, this world first width fitting sees it going further than any other manufacturer before, with the simple aim of getting as close as possible. Gloves are available in the classic XS to XL sizing, as well as Slim and Wide versions.

The 3 glove range consists of the ONE 11, ONE OX, and ONE 10:

SQ-Gloves ONE 11 are positioned as ‘the Formula 1 among gloves’, with the brand stating it tested just about everything in the search for the perfect material for the palm.

Designed for MTB Tech and Trail, the SQ-Gloves ONE 11 is engineered around Japanese Toray Ultrasuede palm material –  said to be remarkably thin, wrinkle free, and highly flexible -with the fabrics and construction dialled for a perfect fit. ‘With great fit comes great grip, and a classy, comfortable, feel, paired with a lasts forever durability’ – states the brand.

For SQ-Gloves ONE 11, available in white, the idea to put the seams to the outside is said to come from Formula 1 gloves. In practical terms, the benefits include improved feel for the handlebars, because riders aren’t gripping on the side located seams. This is said to be especially impactful around the fingertips of the gloves, which are clean on the inside.

The fingers have overlapping seams for the best mix of comfort and appearance.

SQ-Gloves ONE OX does without the small knuckle protection rubber found on the ONE 11, making this glove a more affordable option.

The fabric of the palm also covers the fingertips, preventing annoying seams and keeping them warm. On cold days or in the rain, the rain cover can be pulled over the fingers, which is otherwise hidden at the top of the wrist. Here, the SQlab size concept in Slim & Wide ensures an optimal fit.
