SRAM promotes Brandwagt & Lagemaat to improve customer service

SRAM has promoted two members of its management team to continue leading and improving the company’s customer service and operational performance to grow its EU OE and Aftermarket business.

Patrick Brandwagt was recently promoted to Global IT Program Director. Brandwagt’s main responsibility will be ensuring the business and IT side of SRAM are aligned on their implementation priorities. Additionally, he will manage several ongoing IT projects, as well as contribute to the continuous improvement team.

Prior to his new role, Brandwagt served as General Manager for SRAM Europe BVHe also fulfilled multiple regional operational roles including IT Project Management, Zipp integration manager, Lean Expert, SAP implementation and Customer Service Manager.

Brandwagt will report to CFO, Mike Herr and has relocated from SRAM’s Nijkerk, Netherlands, location to SRAM’s global headquarters in Chicago.

Anja Lagemaat has been promoted to General Manager of SRAM Europe BV. She will continue to lead the European Customer Service team, while adding the General Management responsibilities for the location.

Since 2005, Lagemaat has served as SRAM’s European Customer Service Manager. Additionally, Lagemaat served various Customer Service roles including Southern Europe Representative and OEM Coordinator. She will report to John Nedeau, SRAM VP Of OEM Sales.

Nedeau said of the appointments: “For the last 15 to 20 years Patrick and Anja have been instrumental leading, managing and continuously improving SRAM customer service and operational performance supporting growing EU OE and Aftermarket business. I’m confident with their ability to continue to improve SRAM’s customer service and operational processes delivering even more value to our customers.”

SRAM Europe BV is located in Nijkerk the Netherlands. It is the location of the European Customer Service and Dealer Service Benelux teams.

SRAM recently launched its new electric AXS component package, which CIN was invited along to by ZyroFisher, which saw five years of design, development and testing culminate in a line up of products which SRAM believes stand alone in terms of performance, technology and user benefits.
