Triathlon industry conference to take place on December 9th

The inaugural edition of the Triathlon Industry Conference (TIC24) will be held on December 9th and features a panel line-up of Ruth Daniels, British Triathlon CEO, Annie Emmerson, BBC Olympic commentator, Francesca Barber, Comic Relief, and other industry leaders.

Triathlon Industry Action (TIA) has partnered with Running Industry Alliance (RIA) to bring this new conference together, powered by Scimitar. Loughborough will host the first-ever TIC and will bring together industry leaders to discuss the future of triathlon.

A theme of ‘dialogue, not monologue’ will run throughout the conference with a series of panel discussions woven in with networking opportunities for attendees to collaborate and gain insight from.

Three-time Olympic commentator Annie Emmerson will host the event, guiding delegates through the panels and fostering lively discussion and key takeaways. Some key itinerary items include; The state of the industry – discussing the trends and governance, reaching the audience – discussing how to grow multisport participation, growing the community – assess the roles of clubs and coaches, innovation and sustainability, and where next for triathlon?

Iain Hamilton, chair of the Triathlon Industry Association, said: “With a packed itinerary and some of the brightest minds in the industry, TIC24 offers an unmissable chance for stakeholders to come together. Whether you’re a governing body, event organiser, coach, or brand, this conference will deliver insights and opportunities you won’t find anywhere else.”
