UAE Team Emirates is joined by Shimano as technical partner

UAE Team Emirates has unveiled its new official technical partner Shimano whcih will provide DURA-ACE components until 2028. The partnership kicks off with the upcoming 2025 road cycling season, with the UCI WorldTour’s ‘Best Team for 2024’ now having its materials provided by Shimano.

The partnership will span four seasons with UAE Team Emirates along with its partner team in the UCL Women’s Tour, UAE Team ADQ, receiving Shimano products. The application of DURA-ACE Di2 wireless groupset will provide teams with advanced shifting and braking capabilities.

The Di2 electronic gear shifting integration and advanced braking technologies have already been implemented and played a role in the teams races over the last several seasons. This helped the team in over 80 wins across Grand Tours, One-Day Classics, and other General Classification races in 2024.

Elisa Longo Borghini joins the UAE Team ADQ as this years winner of the Giro d’Italia Women and the Tour of Flanders. This acquisition speaks to the ambition of the team and its future aims.
