United Wheels strengthens financial leadership with promotion of Steve Bevelhymer

United Wheels has promoted Steve Bevelhymer to Senior Vice President, Finance and Treasury, effective immediately.

In his new position, Bevelhymer oversees all global finance and treasury functions for United Wheels. The company said the appointment ensures “stability and continuity” across the organisation while supporting the company’s ongoing financial and strategic objectives.

Currently Vice President of Huffy Corporation, a subsidiary of United Wheels, Bevelhymer has been a “key architect” of the company’s financial planning and analysis function. Throughout his tenure, Bevelhymer has consistently demonstrated financial expertise, a collaborative leadership style and a deep commitment to operational excellence and strategic growth.

“Steve has been a trusted leader at United Wheels for more than a decade,” said Bruno Maier, President and CEO of United Wheels. “His proven track record and deep understanding of our business make him uniquely qualified to lead our Finance and Treasury team into its next phase.”

The company added that the leadership transition marks a significant step in its continued commitment to financial strength, strategic execution and long-term growth.

Last month, United Wheels showcased products from both Huffy and Batch Bicycles at CIN LIVE 2025, with new launches aimed at the BMX and kids’ bike markets. Products of Huffy included the Huffy Symbol Freestyle BMX and the Huffy HX Pro Race BMX, while United Wheels also displayed Batch Bicycles’ all-new range of kids’ bikes, spanning from 12-inch balance bikes to 20-inch mountain bikes.
