Vielo begins overseas dealer recruitment with Eurobike debut
Having launched in January Vielo Sports house bike label has begun its overseas expansion bid, recruiting destination stores in California and Belgium.
Though largely focused on establishing its UK business, Ian Hughes has revealed that the V+1 will make its Eurobike debut next month and overseas accounts will now be welcomed.
“Our goal with Vielo is to work with selected dealers on a one to one basis. Just like with Chad in California and Olivier in Belgium, our dealers are part of our family and our journey. We’ll be showing the V+1 at Eurobike this year and would love to discuss our brand with like-minded dealers attending the show.”
The first two overseas accounts are Chad Nordwall’s Above Category Cycling in California and Fietsen King in Belgium.
Hughes added: “We’ve had an amazing response so far to the launch of the brand, not only with UK IBD’s, but also with international customer enquiries. While our intentions are to focus on the UK market, we know the V+1 would also suit a number of other international customers. We’ve been looking for a select number of retail partners that would be interested in working with us to offer the V+1.”
The V+1 is part of a new breed of Road Plus performance bikes for those who want to combine a bit of fun riding on gravel or loose forest roads without the heavy weight of a hard tail mountain bike.
The V+1 is built around a 890 gram UD carbon frame made exclusively for 1x group sets and designed with passive rear suspension. The frame is capable of taking 42mm tyres or 650b x 2.1mm. Designed with discreet mudguards mounts and UK specific internal cable routing, the V+1 is adaptable through the seasons.
