Wales start-up Wonderlube launches ONE lube

Wales based start-up brand Wonderlube has launched with a new cycle chain lube for all conditions and all riding types.

Wonderlube aims to provide a different take on the lube market, which awash with choice. Dry or wet, ceramic or wax and even gravel specific products are now available and – without knocking the situation – the Welsh company said it hopes to simplify the whole thing for the consumer.

With its newly launched cycle chain lube, Wonderlube promises that its one product will work in all conditions and any usage situation. From high mileage touring bikes to BMX and downhill MTB, Wonderlube promises long lasting effectiveness at a cost-effective price.

The brand is brought to market by bike industry veteran Mark Almond who explains that Wonderlube cleans and protects in one step and was developed to offer a simple to understand and highly effective solution at a great price.

“As a long-time bike industry marketer, I have always advised clients to ask themselves what the customer wants and then – only then – how they can meet that want effectively,” he said.

“From owning a bike shop I often heard consumers asking what the difference was between different lubes. Likewise, internet forums are full of people asking the same question. If the consumer is confused, why not help them? One cost effective lube that does it all.

“Wonderlube’s cleaning action can sometimes result in a black chain the first time you ride the bike if you haven’t degreased it beforehand which is, of course, best practice and advised. This is simply the lube removing old product and any dirt from within the links.
