Windwave appointed UK distributor of Ferodo cycling products

With effect from 1 March 2023, Windwave began distribution of Ferodo Racing brake products in the UK as the global brake component manufacturer entered the cycling industry.

Unveiling the new distribution partnership in conjunction with Windwave’s appearance at COREbike show, Windwave Commercial Manager Luke Leuillette said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming Ferodo Racing to Windwave. Being chosen as a distributor for the UK is a great privilege. Ferodo has been at the forefront of manufacturing brake components in the automotive industry for over 125 years, first manufacturing brake linings in Derbyshire in 1902.”

“The brand is ready to begin innovating in our industry and their desire to supply and improve the world of cycling is fantastic.”

Ferodo Racing’s Sales Director, John Davies, added “we’re excited to launch our new range of bike brake pads, discs and fluids and to make the products available in the UK via Windwave.”

Leuillette concluded: “With our determined focus of both Road and Off-Road products, Ferodo is a great fit for our company. We have some exciting plans together and the whole Windwave team is looking forward to increasing the visibility of the brand within our retail partners.”

For Windwave this latest addition adds to a portfolio which also includes the Classified Cycling drive train, announced in the latter part of 2022. The common element here; automotive know-how brought to bear in the cycling environment.
