BMX media outlet Woozy has surpassed 150,000 YouTube subscribers, something the firm describes as a “milestone for BMX media in Europe.”
Possessing the /BMX URL, as well as /woozybmx, the channel commands a growing reach across the world with a broad demographic. The bulk of visitors, some 37.7% are aged 18 to 24, while 26.1% are 24 to 34, showing that interest remains strong with age. Nearly a fifth of the site’s visitors are female, indicating a changing picture in the sport which is now embracing women’s participation at the top rungs of the sport.
CEO Dominik Wrobel said of the growth: “People watch our content in the US, UK, Germany, France, Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, Brazil, Spain and further afield, depending on where we film and where the athletes come from.
