Acclaimed women’s sportswear designer Anna Glowinski has signaled a return production of cycling products with the launch of Anna’s Legs.
Formerly behind the Ana Nichoola label and presently the creative director at her own agency Best Day Ever, Glowinski’s latest foray into to cycle clothing will go exclusively via VeloVixen, a specialist retailer in Women’s cycling.
As the name suggests, the product will focus entirely on legwear that will see launches staggered throughout the year to fit with seasonal change.
Glowinski says of the project: “I wanted to create something that I knew the women’s cycling market was crying out for. I love designing, I love speaking to female cyclists and hearing about what they want, I love thinking about small, new ideas and features that will make products more comfortable and more user friendly than anything else out there.
“Anna’s Legs is a fun project for me, one that occupies my mind in the times when I am out pedaling myself. I am confident with and proud of this first collection and I hope that wearers look down and smile at their legs occasionally! If that happens and everyone is loving their legs, then it’s job done for me!”
VeloVixen recently secured £500,000 in growth capital from a bath-based investment firm.
