Babboe launches new Slim Mountain e-cargo bike

Dutch cargo bike manufacturer Babboe is launching its latest model, the Slim Mountain, aimed at adventurous families ahead of the summer.

The Slim Mountain is the latest addition to Babboe’s Mountain range of cargo bikes and is equipped with a powerful mid-drive 400 Wh Yamaha motor. The bike is designed for family adventures and long journey cycling holidays, manufactured to tackle cross winds and long distances.

Founded in 2005 by a group of Dutch parents, Babboe’s focus is on safe, functional and fun cargo bike options for young families such as trips to and from the weekly shop and adventure holidays.

The Slim Mountain has a range of 24-37 miles dependent on load and level of assistance, with empty-to-full battery charges taking 4-6 hours. The extra slim design means the bike is easily manoeuvrable while remaining stable, due to the kids’ seating position in a straight line in front of the handlebars. It can also be parked and stored easily for those with limited space.

The kids seats can be adapted for a Maxi-Cosi carrier and up to two bike seats can be mounted on the Slim Mountain, creating a wide variety of potential configuration options. There are also options to add a foot rail, back rest and rear carrier.
