Back Street Distribution partners with Odyssey, Sunday, G-Sport & Fairdale

UK BMX distributor, Back Street Distribution, has announced the takeover of UK distribution of four new US brands from July.

The distributor has partnered with Odyssey, Sunday, G-Sport and Fairdale to supply specialist BMX and bike dealers throughout the UK with the brands, alongside own premium parts brand BSD,from its new warehouse facilities in Glasgow.

A unique transatlantic agreement will see Back Street work in tandem with the US brands’ own US distributor, Full Factory, which will takeover distribution of BSD across the pond.

In April this year, the new Back Street Distribution B2B site was launched in preparation of the expansion in a bid to offer shop dealers a more streamlined online ordering experience.

Grant Smith, Director of Back Street Distribution, said: “This is a hugely exciting time for Back Street, these are massively respected and established brands worldwide and we are looking forward to representing them in the UK. They are the perfect fit for Back Street and open new markets for us with Sunday and complete bikes and with the addition of Fairdale Bikes, the road bike market, too.

“We are equally excited for Full Factory to represent BSD in the States. Full Factory is a great company with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the industry. We are looking forward to working with the Full Factory crew and representing each other’s brands.”

Juan Zulagga, International Sales Manager at Full Factory, added: “We are excited for this new chapter in our UK distribution, it’s an important market for us and Back Street has provided a unique opportunity for us moving forward.

“We share the same philosophies on the importance of quality BMX products and good customer service, which is why BSD is also a great addition to the Full Factory brands in the US. BSD is one of the most progressive and modern brands around and we’re hyped to be representing them.”

Back Street is now open for pre-orders on Odessey, Sunday, G-Sport and Fairdale Bikes now, with the first shipment expected to land in early August.
