Bike.Rent Manager adds marketing skills and expertise with new hire
Bike.Rent Manager, the Saas based platform for bike rental management has announced the strengthening of its team with the hiring of marketing professional, Pedro Couto Lopes.
Couto Lopes comes on board with a clear focus on, “developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive business growth, increase brand awareness and promote Bike.Rent Manager products and services.”
The hiring of a marketing expert comes after the business recruited 7 new engineering appointments, in October of 2022. This included Head of Engineering Riley Ramone, with previous experience delivered software at Friends Reunited, Mecca Bingo, and agency-side for brands such as HSBC, Nando’s and The London Eye. Also joining the engineering team, Chris Jackson with eight years of experience working for Fujitsu and Ford.
Bike Rental Manager was created by Doug Stoddart, a software engineer and bike shop owner, in response to the lack of dedicated software in the field. Launched in 2010, the all-in-one platform has a client base in the UK, Spain, France, and the United States, amongst others.
In 2021 the business was successful in securing a £490,000 investment as part of a funding round in partnership with Universum Wealth.
