An opportunity to buy an existing bike retail business has come up, with the owner of Accrington, Lancashire-set Blood Sweat & Gears making it available for sale.

The repair/service-based bike shop is for sale due to the owner relocating in the future.

In a Main Street, town centre location, Blood Sweat & Gears has no direct competition. The business has been running since 2015. The owner informs that it has cheap rent at just £400 per month. It’s fully stocked, with approximately £24k in P&A.

The fully equipped workshop comes with quality tools, one Park Tool stand and one Kestrel stand, plus a Rozone bike washer.

The shop has full LED lighting for low bills as well as CCTV and alarm system, plus security shutter. The deal includes all fixtures and fittings plus one months’ labour/ handover period.

The owner says: “The business has 65-75k turnover per annum running single handed. It really needs two people to take the business to the next level.”
